Heavy Duty  - Off Road Rustproofing

(Spec:- BS200)

Spec BS200 has been developed especially for working vehicles and vehicles that require a little more protection than your average city car. Ideal for light commercial vehicles and four wheel drives, providing the extra protection you need. Spec BS200 is so tough that it also provides sound deadening qualities. The application is thicker and is applied more extensively than the Spec BS100 to ensure that you are protected against harsh conditions that can penetrate deep into the panels of your car, like the red dust of the North West and salt from visits to the beach.

Application
 Procedure
  • All door trims, kick panels and scuff plates are removed. All cavities, inner seams and chassis rails are then sprayed with a potent rust killing agent RX401 using high-pressure spray equipment. The vehicle is then left for approx (2) hours to ensure that the rust killing agent has penetrated through any existing rust or surface rust.
  • The doors cavities and door pillars are then sprayed internally with Beam ML602 HD upper body rust treatment, a highly advanced heavy duty wax product designed to adhere to the metal. The rocker panels and pillars are then accessed through existing holes and are carefully sprayed using high-pressure equipment to ensure thorough coverage. Behind the headlight and grille areas and inside the bonnet & boot lid, tailgate areas and front and rear guards of your vehicle are also sprayed with Beam upper body rust treatment.
  • The entire engine bay area is then sprayed with Ultratect “Imron” paying particular attention to the area around the battery holder and all seams.
  • The complete under body including lower cavities of the front and rear guards, rear cavities, chassis rails and welded areas, under wheel arches, fuel tank and differential areas are then sealed with a double thickness coating of our exclusively formulated Bituminous Black Underbody Product UB302B. *Including fixing points for tow bars, roo/bull bars and side steps.
  • The vehicle is then finished by replacing all parts that were removed prior to the vehicle being protected. All drain holes are checked to ensure they are free from any residual Rustproofing product. The vehicle is then cleaned off using a mild solvent to ensure that there is no over-spray on the body, trim, windows or any other exterior parts.
