Whether you are buying a pre-owned car or concerned about the condition of your current vehicle, our expert team can provide a comprehensive assessment and independent advice on all aspects relating to vehicle rust and paint condition. Our standard vehicle inspection will identify any rust and paint problems including detection of previous body shop repairs.
Our 75 years of experience and knowledge of known risk areas will ensure that rust problems that are not obviously visible are detected early. Paint problems are also our speciality and early detection is the key to avoiding costly re-sprays.
Our written report will detail the condition of your vehicle and includes a least cost quotation to rectify any problems found.
Our standard vehicle inspection takes no longer then 1 hour to complete and costs only $45.00 - (Note: bookings are essential)
Annual Warranty Service and Re-treatment Service.
Beam Rustproofing has been appointed by the underwriters of the Defense Pak, Wynn’s and VPS warranties as an independent authority to co-ordinate and conduct their annual inspection services and will contact you prior to each inspection date.
To insure your Vehicles Protection Products continue to work year after year, it is a normal condition of your warranty that an inspection of your vehicle occurs annually within one month of the anniversary of its purchase.
The following eight-point inspection plan forms part of our quality programme:
ON THE HOIST
1. Inspect entire under body with light beam and inspection probes and reinstate Rust Protection as required. If vehicle requires pressure cleaning, a cost may be incurred.
2. Inspect and if required, spray areas behind headlights and front grille trims.
3. Check operation of Electronic Rustproofing Systems & couplers.
4. Re-treat wheel arches annually to compensate for any stone chip damage.
ON THE FLOOR
5. Inspect all seams and joints outside car and in boot and engine compartments.
6. Remove door trims and inspect with light beam and re-treat as required.
7. Inspect Fabric and Paint Protection as required. Note on card and advise customer if paintwork is damaged or flaking or if Fabric Protection requires re-application.
8. Re-Apply Paint protection annually.
The Annual inspection and re-treatment will take no longer than 2 hours. A Service Fee applies and covers the cost labour and materials for the 2-hour inspection. (at the hourly labour rate currently recommended by the W.A.C.C)
